Founded in Ansbach in 1928 and now run by the 4th generation, Spedition Oppel can look back on an eventful company history. The first trucks were not only from Mercedes-Benz, but this was “law” from 1957. In 1964, the company also began repairing vehicles. In 1971, the company moved to Elpersdorf near Ansbach with nine employees. Between 1980 and 1984, the company underwent extensive expansion in Elpersdorf: construction of a new showroom, administration building, paint shop, car workshop, additional brake tester and expansion of the spare parts warehouse. This was followed at the beginning of the 1990s by vehicle operations in the new federal states. The Oppel haulage company has already ordered a new Mercedes-Benz Actros ProCabin as a combustion engine, which we realize here as a model. (Bavaria/Elpersdorf)
