Turkey Government Airbus A340-500 - TC-CAN

The Turkish Government operates a small fleet of aircraft with VIP interior for high-ranking government officials and the head of state. Among the aircraft is a single Airbus A340-500 in the national colors of red and white. The 500 series was the ultra-long range variant of the Airbus A340 family of widebody aircraft. Although never achieving success with commercial airlines, only 34 aircraft were built on total, the aircraft with its long range proves popular for governmental use to this day.
