Mercedes-Benz Actros SLT heavy-duty semitrailer with box (Netherlands)
Following on from the MAN (316934), the Mercedes-Benz Arocs (317504) and the Volvo (Road Cargo, 318358), the series of models from the Dutch global company continues with this Mercedes-Benz Actros SLT. In addition to the hand-painted contrasting coloring of the roof of the tractor units, the model impresses with the load, a wooden box modeled with pressure. Mammoet Holding B.V. was founded in 1971 by the three companies Goedkoop (Amsterdam) Van Wezel (Hengelo) and Stoof (Breda). If you go back to the actual origins, you end up on May 13, 1807. On this Wednesday, Jan Goedkoop bought a 140-ton cargo ship and offered transportation services for freight and passengers. Salvage work and towing services were also carried out. Since the merger into the holding company over 50 years ago, the main area of activity has been heavy transport and crane work. Mammoet does not move mountains, but it does move entire houses (or even churches). The model is a one-off edition.
