At Mercedes-Benz it is called the W 198, better known as the 300 SL Gullwing (SL stands for super-light). This refers to nice realized oldtimer, which was presented at the 2023 in-house exhibition in its first splashes and was first delivered mid of 2024. 1,400 coupés were produced between 1954 and 1957, and a further 1,858 roadsters between 1957 and 1963. In 1999, the vehicle was voted "Sports Car of the Century" by readers of the German classic car magazine. The model initially appeared in light blue metallic.
