In 2012, Poland’s LOT became the first European airline to operate the then revolutionary Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Today, the fleet includes eight 787-8 as well as seven stretched 787-9 versions, both forming the single long-distance type used. In addition to the registration change, some smaller modifications were made when compared to the first run, such as small changes to the window configuration as well as the color of the sat-dome, and the addition of small markings on the forward fuselage.
