NEW TYPE! At Mercedes-Benz it is called the W 198, better known as the 300 SL Gullwing (SL stands for super-light). This refers to a top shape innovation, which was presented at the 2023 in-house exhibition in its first splashes and can now finally be delivered. 1,400 coupés were produced between 1954 and 1957, and a further 1,858 roadsters between 1957 and 1963.
